Ovrvue is a free weather app focused on conditions that may affect what someone does next. Instead of opening with a large collection of measurements, it prioritizes the current temperature, approaching rain, and notable conditions such as storms, poor air quality, wildfire smoke, damaging wind, low visibility, or ice. Signals appear only when they are relevant and are limited to three at a time. The app also provides a visual weekly forecast, minute-by-minute rain information, live United States radar, hourly details, and supporting measurements such as humidity, pressure, UV, wind, visibility, and precipitation totals. Forecast and model timestamps are shown separately so users can judge how current the information is. Ovrvue does not require an account, display ads, or use tracking cookies. Settings, saved locations, and the user's forecast API key remain on the device. It can also be installed on a phone's home screen.
