How NxGn Tools works

Submitting Your Tool

To submit your tool to NxGn Tools, you need to create an account and fill out the submission form. The form requires the following information:

• Tool Name: The name of your product or service
• Tagline: A brief description of what your tool does
• Website URL: The link to your product's website
• Logo: An image file representing your tool
• Categories: One or more categories that best describe your tool
• Pricing Model: Whether your tool is free, paid, freemium, or has a different pricing structure

Verification Process

Tools can display a verified check mark when we have confirmed that the tool's website matches the listed URL. Verification happens automatically when you embed your tool's badge on your own website:

• From your tool page on NxGn Tools, use the "Embed Badge" option to get the embed code
• Add the badge to your tool's website (the same URL you submitted for the tool)
• When the badge loads on your site, we check that the page showing the badge matches your tool's listed URL
• If they match, your tool is marked as verified and the green check mark appears next to your tool name across the platform

Verification helps visitors trust that the tool listing is legitimate and that the website URL is correct.

Launch Types

NxGn Tools offers two types of launches:

Voting and Upvotes

Users can upvote tools they find valuable or interesting. Here's how the voting system works:

• Any registered user can upvote any tool
• Each user can upvote a tool only once
• Upvotes are counted in real-time and affect the tool's ranking
• Vote manipulation, including self-upvoting multiple times, is strictly prohibited and may result in launch cancellation
• The total number of upvotes determines a tool's position in the weekly rankings

Impressions

Each tool displays an impressions count. An impression is counted when the tool's card is shown on screen, for example, when it scrolls into view in a list or appears on its detail page. This helps you understand how often your tool is being seen by visitors.

• Impressions are counted automatically when a tool card or detail page enters view
• The count is visible on tool cards and detail pages; click the badge for more info
• Use impressions alongside upvotes to gauge visibility and engagement

Weekly Competition

NxGn Tools operates on a weekly competition cycle:

• Each week starts fresh with a new competition
• All tools launching during a week compete against each other
• Rankings are based on the total number of upvotes received
• The top 3 tools of each week are declared winners
• Winners receive featured badges and permanent recognition on the leaderboards
• Top 3 winners stay on the landing page for an additional week

Karma System

NxGn Tools uses a karma system to reward active community members:

• Users earn karma by contributing to the platform
• Activities that earn karma include upvoting tools, commenting, and other community engagement
• Users with the highest karma are featured on the homepage
• Karma helps build your reputation as an active community member

Streak System

Build your contribution streak by actively engaging with the community:

• You earn a streak point every time you contribute to the community
• Contributions include upvoting tools, commenting on other's tools, or upvoting other's comments
• Your streak reflects your consistent engagement and helps showcase your active participation in the community

Submission Service (Directory Submissions)

Our done-for-you Submission Service submits your tool or website to a selected number of third-party directories (e.g., 50 or 100, depending on the plan). This helps you gain backlinks, exposure, and potential traffic while you focus on building your product.

• Submission to a selected number of directories
• We aim for high-quality directories (e.g., DR 40 and above where applicable). We do not guarantee the Domain Rating (DR) of any directory or any minimum DR; directory metrics are subject to change and are outside our control.
• Comprehensive submission report after completion
• DR improvement for your site varies based on many factors; we do not guarantee any specific DR or SEO results.

Featured Spots

Featured Spots are premium placements available for purchase on a monthly subscription basis:

• Premium placement on all public pages of the platform
• Random featured product display on private pages
• Dofollow backlink that remains active as long as the Featured Spot is active
• Stays active until it reaches at least $1 CPC

Featured on TikTok

Get your tool featured on our TikTok page with 40k+ followers. This one-time purchase provides enhanced social media exposure:

Badges and Recognition

Tools can earn various badges and recognition:

• Top 3 Weekly Winners: Featured badges for the top 3 tools each week
• Verified Badge: Green check mark for tools whose website has been confirmed to match the listed URL when the badge is embedded (see Verification Process)
• Premium Launch Badge: Crown icon displayed on premium launch tools
• Embeddable Badges: Regular badges are available for anyone to embed on their own websites for social proof. Winners also receive special badges that can be embedded
• Permanent Leaderboard Recognition: Top 3 winners are permanently recorded on weekly leaderboards

Dofollow Backlinks

NxGn Tools provides dofollow backlinks in the following scenarios:

• Premium Launch: Guaranteed 2 permanent dofollow backlinks (one from tool detail page, one from Premium Launches page)
• Top 3 Weekly Winners: Dofollow backlink granted when the winner embeds the badge on their landing page
• Featured Spots: Dofollow backlink that remains active as long as the Featured Spot subscription is active

All backlinks are provided "as is" without guarantees regarding Domain Rating (DR) or SEO impact. Backlink value may vary based on search engine algorithms and third-party rating systems.

Getting Started

Ready to launch your tool? Here's how to get started:

1. Create an account: Sign up using your Google account or email address
2. Submit your tool: Fill out the submission form with your tool's details
3. Choose your launch type: Select between Basic (free) or Premium (paid) launch
4. Join the queue: Your tool will be queued and launched when your turn comes (70 tools are launched per week)
5. Share and promote: Share your tool with your network to gather upvotes and climb the rankings. You can start sharing your tool and get early upvotes while it's in the queue, giving you an advantage when your launch week arrives
