We track when users visit product websites for functional purposes to enhance platform functionality and user experience.
We collect your personal information to process your page interactions, submissions, orders (including directory submission services and Homepage Bids), and to provide you with the best service possible.
When you place a Homepage Bid, we use the account you signed in with, your email address, the bid amount, payment confirmation from our payment provider, and a checkout identifier so we can confirm payment, hold or replace the homepage slot, email you a link to finish the ad, and keep billing records.
If you feature a launched tool, we use that tool's existing name, tagline, logo, and website. If you submit a custom ad, we store the name, tagline, website URL, and logo you upload. Logos may be copied from temporary storage to permanent storage and converted to an optimized format. We delete a previous custom logo when you replace it, unless that file is also used as a tool logo.
The following appear on the public homepage and Homepage bids page: the ad name, tagline, logo, website link, bid amount, status (for example on homepage or outbid), and the date of the bid. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider, not stored by us as card numbers. We use this information only to complete checkout, show the ad, keep public bid history, and handle billing records. We do not sell this information.
