What is Verity Protect | Secure Call Screening?
Verity Protect is a call screening and call management service designed to reduce scam and fraud calls reaching older adults. It works by providing a Verity phone number and using call forwarding from a mobile phone or most landlines, so unknown callers are handled by Verity first. Family members and caregivers manage a trusted contact list; trusted callers ring through automatically and are not recorded. Unknown callers can be asked to enter a Family PIN to connect, or leave a short voicemail. Voicemails from untrusted callers are recorded and transcribed, and a fraud engine assigns a risk score and highlights matched keywords. Account members receive real-time alerts by email or text with transcript snippets and a risk level, then mark numbers safe (to trust) or fraud (to block in the future). The site also describes a partnership program for senior living facilities with no facility cost, minimal staff setup, and self-serve family onboarding.
