TalkBuoy is a real-time conversation assistant that listens through your device microphone and generates on-screen response suggestions within seconds. It is positioned for situations where people are put on the spot, such as job interviews, post-presentation Q&A, podcast appearances, and everyday conversations. The product offers multiple modes (Interview, Speech Q&A, Podcast, Conversation, and Revision) and can optionally use uploaded CVs or notes to tailor suggestions to your background or key talking points. A short voice calibration sample helps it filter out your own speech so it focuses on the other speaker, and an auto-mute feature prevents it from transcribing its own read-aloud output. TalkBuoy runs in modern browsers and can be installed as a PWA, with guidance for using it alongside video calls or with a second device for phone calls. Audio is streamed for transcription and discarded after the session.
