About
Startup Archive is a website snapshot tool for founders who are shutting down a startup and want to preserve what they built without keeping the full site online. It captures full-page images for up to five routes on a domain, saving each route in desktop and mobile formats, in both light and dark mode. The result is a read-only, replayable archive presented in a viewer and available as an embed for portfolios or replacement pages, so visitors can see the product without being sent to a dead link. The service emphasizes visual fidelity and presentation compared to general-purpose archives, and it avoids storing site markup, scripts, videos, or other media assets. It also supports taking multiple snapshots over time to create before/after comparisons as a visual changelog.
