Requestly is an open-source, git-friendly API client and web proxy tool for creating, testing, and debugging APIs. It supports saving and organizing requests into collections, using environment variables, running pre-request and post-response scripts, and validating responses with tests. Teams can work in local and shared workspaces, sync collections to Git, and migrate existing setups by importing from Postman, Bruno, cURL, or OpenAPI. Beyond an API client, Requestly includes an HTTP interceptor for recording and modifying HTTP requests and responses—such as redirecting URLs, switching domains, changing headers, delaying requests, editing request bodies, modifying responses, and blocking network calls. It also provides API mocking so frontend development can proceed without waiting for backend availability, including configurable status codes and GraphQL support. Requestly is available as a desktop app and a browser extension.
