Punnett Square Calculator is a browser-based biology and genetics tool for predicting possible offspring genotypes and phenotypes from parent genotypes. Users enter the genotypes of two parents, such as Aa × Aa or AaBb × AaBb, and the calculator generates the corresponding 2×2 monohybrid or 4×4 dihybrid Punnett square. It identifies possible gametes, fills the offspring grid, and calculates genotypic ratios, phenotypic ratios, and percentage probabilities. The tool supports standard monohybrid and dihybrid crosses using complete dominance, including homozygous and heterozygous genotype combinations. It can be used to work through Mendelian genetics problems, check manual calculations, and study inheritance patterns such as the 1:2:1 genotypic ratio and 9:3:3:1 dihybrid phenotypic ratio. Calculations run client-side in the browser, with no data sent to a server.
Manual Punnett square calculations can be time-consuming and error-prone.
Enter two parent genotypes to generate grids and calculate ratios and probabilities.
