Privacy Shield is a Chrome extension designed to keep on-screen information private when others might see your browser. It adds a full-page blur overlay that can be adjusted and dragged to reveal only the portion of a page you need to show. For more control, it lets you blur specific page elements by holding Right Alt and clicking; those blurred elements persist across page reloads so sensitive sections stay hidden. A “Meeting Mode” applies protections across all open tabs by masking tab titles as “Private Tab,” swapping favicons to a shield icon, and enabling the overlay everywhere to reduce accidental disclosure during screen sharing.
