About
Photo Extender is an online AI tool for expanding photos beyond their original borders. Instead of cropping a subject or stretching existing pixels, it uses generative AI to create new background content that matches the lighting, colors, textures, and surrounding scene. Users upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP image, choose a target aspect ratio and extension direction, and download the generated result. It supports common formats including 1:1, 4:5, 16:9, 9:16, and 21:9, as well as custom aspect ratios. Photo Extender can be used to adapt images for social media posts, product listings, banners, real estate photos, prints, wallpapers, and old family photos. The browser-based tool requires no software installation or account and provides full-resolution results without a watermark.
