About
Perkoon is a file transfer service focused on sending files of any size without the usual caps or forced compression. It offers peer-to-peer transfers that stream directly from one browser to another, so files do not touch Perkoon’s servers during P2P sessions. When the receiver is offline, Perkoon provides a paid option to hold the file using cloud storage, with files stored encrypted on its servers. The site emphasizes privacy practices such as not scanning or selling file contents and using privacy-first analytics hosted on its own infrastructure. It also includes a referral program where users share a unique link and earn additional cloud storage when referrals sign up and complete P2P transfer milestones. Browser support is highlighted (best on Chrome/Edge/Brave) and it mentions an interface hook (window.__perkoon) intended for agent or machine use.
