Packtopus

About

Packtopus is a travel packing tool built to help people prepare for trips with fewer missed items and less excess weight. Users enter a destination and trip type, and the product generates a categorized packing list with AI. The list can then be edited manually, checked off during preparation, and tracked by category. The site highlights a live weight tracker that shows total bag weight, category totals, and heaviest items so travelers can stay within airline limits. It also includes an outfit planner for mapping clothes across trip days and spotting repeated items, which helps reduce overpacking. An AI travel chat is positioned as a trip-aware assistant for packing questions, local tips, weather, and visas. Overall, the product is about organizing trip preparation in one place, with AI used to speed up list creation and support travel decisions.
