What is Overscope?
Overscope is an AI-assisted scope intelligence tool for professional services teams. It helps teams prevent scope creep and protect project margins by turning a Statement of Work (SOW) into a structured scope model with deliverables, boundaries, exclusions, assumptions, and constraints. After uploading an SOW, users can connect project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Monday.com so Overscope can monitor new tasks and delivery signals. When work appears to drift outside the contracted scope, the product flags the discrepancy and sends real-time notifications via in-app alerts, email, or Slack for review. It also supports revenue recovery by analyzing historical timesheets and SOWs to identify potentially unbilled out-of-scope work and generate export-ready recovery reports. Overscope can draft change orders with AI-written justifications that reference original SOW clauses, allowing users to review and edit before sending to clients.
