OddJob is an India-focused micro-task marketplace that connects people who need small online tasks completed with people who want to earn money in their free time. Posters create a task by choosing a category (such as app testing, surveys, data entry, reviews, website testing, image tagging, or Product Hunt upvotes), setting the number of workers needed, pay per person, a deadline, and the proof required. Payment is collected via UPI and held in escrow so posters can approve or reject submissions based on whether they match the brief; funds are released to workers after approval, with automatic release if no action is taken within the defined window. For earners, OddJob offers a task board to browse and claim tasks, submit proof (like screenshots or links), and receive payment to UPI within 48 hours of approval. The platform states a 15% fee paid by posters and enforces moderation rules against fake submissions.
