What is Notifier?

Notifier is an uptime monitoring service for websites, APIs, and servers. It runs automated checks on HTTP/HTTPS endpoints and other services at configurable intervals (from 5 minutes on the free plan down to 30 seconds on higher plans) to detect outages and performance issues quickly. When a check fails or response times exceed a threshold, Notifier sends alerts through channels like email, SMS, phone calls, and Slack. It also provides public status pages so teams can communicate availability to customers and reduce support inquiries. Beyond basic uptime, the product includes monitors for ports and ping, API checks with validation options, DNS and UDP monitoring, keyword monitoring for page content changes, SSL and domain expiration alerts, and cron job monitoring to confirm scheduled tasks run as expected. A free plan offers multiple monitors and status pages without requiring a credit card.
