What is GlassLM?

GlassLM is a privacy-focused tool designed to act as an intermediary layer between users and AI services, ensuring sensitive data privacy. It operates by automatically detecting and masking personal information, such as emails, phone numbers, and other sensitive data, before sending prompts to AI providers. This includes prominent AIs like OpenAI's ChatGPT, Anthropic's Claude, and Google's Gemini. Notably, all operations are executed directly in the user's browser, safeguarding data from being sent to or stored on external servers. Users retain full control and transparency, with the ability to see what information is masked and transmitted. API keys and other sensitive identifiers are temporarily stored in browser memory and are erased upon closing the session.
