About
EyeLock is a Chrome extension designed to enhance productivity by monitoring user attention through a webcam. It locally detects when a user looks away from their screen and reacts by muting tabs or opening a pre-set safe page, ensuring a distraction-free work or study environment. This privacy-focused tool operates entirely offline, using the MediaPipe Face Landmarker for all face and attention detection processes without the need for cloud processing or an account. Users can customize the extension to adjust look-away sensitivity, camera settings, and other behaviors to fit personal needs. EyeLock serves as a distraction blocker, focus timer companion, and screen attention reminder, emphasizing local processing to maintain user privacy and data security.
