What is Expat Buget Track?
ExpatBudgetTrack is a free budgeting and remittance tracking tool designed for Pakistani expats who earn in foreign currencies but plan and spend in Pakistani Rupees. It lets users add income, expenses, and remittances in currencies such as SAR, AED, CAD, USD, GBP, and AUD, then automatically converts each transaction to PKR using mid-market reference rates. The dashboard provides views like category breakdowns, monthly budget progress, and remittances sent to help users understand spending and savings trends in a single PKR-based picture. The site also includes currency converters (e.g., SAR-to-PKR, AED-to-PKR) and a remittance fee calculator to estimate differences between reference rates and real received amounts. It is presented as a personal hobby project and not financial advice.
