What is Echosy?
Echosy is a macOS app for private, on-device audio transcription and dictation. It records microphone and system audio at the same time and generates real-time transcripts with timestamps using local ASR models such as Qwen3-ASR and Whisper (including MLX Whisper with GPU acceleration). It also supports drag-and-drop transcription for common audio and video formats, plus a searchable session history with playback.
