What is Diffshot?
Diffshot is a tool that turns GitHub commit activity into ready-to-publish updates for X. After you connect a repository through GitHub OAuth, it scans recent commits, filters out noisy changes like merge commits and dependency bumps, and creates three different post drafts from the work that matters. Each draft includes an attached, branded visual card—such as a before/after code diff card, a feature highlight, or a stats summary—so updates are more noticeable than plain text. You can review and edit the draft, then publish directly to X in one click. The site states it reads commit messages, file paths, and line-change stats, and generates simplified representations of changes rather than exposing raw source code.
