About
CortexOS is an AI journaling app designed to keep personal writing and analysis private. It runs a language model on the device for reflections, summaries, prompts, and pattern analysis without sending journal content to servers. Entries, voice notes, and attachments are encrypted before storage using AES-256-GCM, with keys derived locally from a 6-word recovery phrase via Argon2id and protected with hardware-backed storage (Secure Enclave/Keystore).
