What is Boardgame, game timer, turn timer?
GoTimer is a free, browser-based web app for timing board games and tracking competitive challenges with friends. It provides three timer modes: a countdown timer with audio alerts, a two-player chess clock for turn-based play, and a round timer that tracks total elapsed time plus individual rounds. In addition to timers, GoTimer includes a rivalry tracker where you can create challenges for specific games, log wins/losses/draws, and review results over time. Challenges include visual history (charts) and optional GIF reactions for recorded outcomes. GoTimer works on phones, tablets, and computers without installing an app. Timers can be used without an account, while creating and managing challenges requires a free account. It’s positioned for tabletop game nights, tournaments, and timed focus sessions such as Pomodoro or ADHD-focused work blocks.
