About
BidPage is an online auction tool for selling digital items and services through a shareable page. A seller defines the item, description, proof URL, auction format, reserve or starting price, closing time, delivery terms, and an optional Buy Now price. BidPage supports open bidding, private sealed bids, and a Fair Price format in which the winner pays the second-highest bid. Bidders save a payment card before their bids count, while losing bidders are not charged. When the auction closes, the winner’s card is charged automatically and the seller receives payment through a connected Stripe account. Open auctions include minimum increments and anti-sniping extensions for bids placed near closing. Sellers then deliver the digital item or service and mark it complete. Creating an auction and bidding are free; completed sales incur a seller platform fee, with sales under $10 exempt according to the site’s current terms.
