What is AFKSecurity?
AFKSecurity is a local Windows security application focused on everyday protection workflows with clear controls and a clean interface. It runs on Windows 10/11 (x64) and does not require an account. The tool emphasizes proactive protection and visibility, providing features such as quarantine management, exclusion lists, and network/firewall-related controls. It also includes integrity verification details so users can confirm what they installed: the About page shows the exact version, the build’s SHA256 hash, and a VirusTotal link. Automatic essential data updates are enabled by default and are required for normal operation, with no telemetry by default. For environments that cannot connect to the internet, AFKSecurity is available as an offline/air-gapped enterprise package prepared case-by-case.
