1stStep.ai is an AI job search platform built around resume tailoring and application workflow. Users upload a resume, paste or capture a job description, and generate an ATS-friendly tailored resume in about 30 seconds. The product also supports cover letters, role match scoring, keyword matching, resume templates, job search, job tracking, and interview prep. A Chrome extension lets users capture job descriptions from sites such as LinkedIn or Indeed to reduce copy and paste. The app includes a Career Positioning Brief that helps identify stronger angles, missing proof points, and skill gaps before sending a resume. It also provides a Job Hunt Pass for unlimited resume tailoring, cover letters, application tracking, resume vault access, and extension workflow features.
